About Billi: Originating in Australia, Billi has been at the forefront of the instant filtered boiling and chilled water systems industry for over 30 years.
The Project: Billi Australia, as part of the product enhancement is introducing a new production line where Propane (R-290) refrigerant gas is charged into the compressor that cools the water system. Billi approached us for the Engineering Design and Install and the scope was to ventilate the production line of any Propane gas leakage from the tray tables and the storage cabinets. The ventilation design was complex considering that Propane is a highly flammable refrigerant gas.
Our Role: ACE consulting Engineers completed the Engineering design in accordance with DHA consultant and EPA Victoria regulations and guidelines. The installation and commissioning of the system was completed in record 3 months time and the system was handed over to Billi Australia on 30th November 2021.
